Jennifer Parker Porter

Dr. Jennifer Parker Porter, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon and the founder of Chevy Chase Facial Plastic Surgery in Bethesda, Maryland. She is certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. A native Washingtonian, she earned her undergraduate degree from Brown University and was awarded a full-tuition merit scholarship to Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine and a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago under Dean Toriumi and M. Eugene Tardy. She was recruited back to Baylor as Assistant Professor to lead their Facial Plastic Surgery training program and established the Baylor Facial Plastic Surgery Center before returning to the DC area. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at Georgetown University Medical Center and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She has served as a board examiner for both the ABFPRS and ABOHNS, and has been selected by both boards to write exam questions. She has over 25 years of experience and specializes in rhinoplasty with particular expertise in ethnic variations in facial plastic surgery. She has published book chapters and journal articles and served as guest editor for several journals. She uses Nd:YAG lasers safe for all skin types including darker complexions.
