Margaret A. Weiss

Dr. Margaret A. Weiss, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and co-founder of the Maryland Dermatology, Laser, Skin & Vein Institute (MDLSV) in Cockeysville, Maryland. She attended Princeton University and earned her MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she also completed her dermatology residency. She served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Johns Hopkins for 30 years and is currently a volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She has served as President Elect of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and Past President of the Maryland Dermatologic Society. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the ASDS, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and a member of the Women's Dermatologic Society and the American College of Phlebology. She has over 30 publications including a textbook on leg vein treatment, and actively conducts clinical trials and lectures nationally and internationally. She co-founded MDLSV with her husband Dr. Robert Weiss, and the practice has grown to include 45 laser and energy-based devices on site, making it one of the largest laser centers in the country and the largest user of botulinum and fillers in the mid-Atlantic region. The practice helped develop many of the laser treatments it offers. Patients drive over four hours to be seen there. She specializes in sclerotherapy, cosmetic dermatology, laser surgery, varicose and spider vein treatment, Botox, fillers, Kybella, skin cancer treatment, and non-surgical body contouring.
