John Zannis

Dr. John Zannis, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon, best-selling author, and the founder of Zannis Center for Plastic Surgery and Full Med Spa in New Bern, North Carolina. He obtained degrees in Human Biology and Studio Art from Stanford University before earning his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His studies in art and art history in Florence, Italy cultivated a passion for the Renaissance that is reflected in his surgical artistry. He completed his Plastic Surgery residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is affiliated with CarolinaEast Health System. He speaks Greek, Italian, and Spanish.
