Kristen Hammes

Kristen Hammes, APRN, CANS, is a board-certified Adult Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, and co-founder and co-owner of a.dore aesthetics and medspa in Elkhorn, Nebraska, which she established in 2019 with Kristin Hegge, RN, BSN. She began her career in nursing by working in the Intensive Care Unit in Evansville, Indiana. Since that time she has logged nearly 30 years of experience in various areas of nursing including PACU, teaching, cardiology, emergency medicine, and aesthetic medicine. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (1994) and a Master of Science in Nursing from the Adult Health Nurse Practitioner Program (2001), both from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She obtained her Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) designation in 2014. She has been a trainer for Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) for the past five years, training other medical providers on injectable techniques and best practices. The a.dore team brings over 65 years of combined aesthetic nursing expertise and 23 years of esthetician experience. The practice offers Botox, dermal fillers, IPL, micro and meso needling, laser treatments, and medical-grade skincare products.
