Luis A. Zapiach

Dr. Luis A. Zapiach, MD, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon at Art Plastic Surgery in Paramus, New Jersey, with an additional office in Franklin Lakes. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Comparative Literature from Rutgers University and his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine with honors in Microbiology. He completed a general surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark (including a research fellowship in vascular surgery), a plastic surgery fellowship at Emory University, and additional training in oculoplastic surgery at Paces Plastic Surgery at Emory. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in both plastic surgery and general surgery. While at Emory, he trained under former presidents of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is affiliated with Valley Hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center, and Chilton Medical Center (Atlantic Health System). He has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for Women's Health and in Plastic Surgery. He is routinely sought out by other plastic surgeons for his skill with natural breast augmentation, Phenol Croton Oil Peel, and mid-facelift surgery. He has published research on neurocutaneous melanosis and myofibroblast differentiation. He practices alongside Dr. John T. Cozzone at Art Plastic Surgery.
