Michael Gold

Dr. Michael H. Gold, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon, and the founder and medical director of Gold Skin Care Center, Advanced Aesthetics Medical Spa, The Laser & Rejuvenation Center, and Tennessee Clinical Research Center, all located in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been serving the Middle Tennessee community since 1990.

Dr. Gold received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University (1985). He completed an internal medicine residency at Emory University School of Medicine (1987) and a dermatology residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University (1989). He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and School of Nursing, an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Meharry Medical College School of Medicine, and a Visiting Professor of Dermatology at Huashan Hospital, Fudan University in Shanghai.

He has earned worldwide recognition for leading-edge technological advances in dermatology and aesthetic skin care. He has authored over 300 published scientific articles, 35 textbook chapters, and edited two textbooks on Photodynamic Therapy. He is the founder and President of the Dermatologic & Aesthetic Surgery International League (DASIL) and a founding member of the 5-Continent Congress. He is President of the Tennessee Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He lectures extensively across the U.S., Europe, Asia, South America, and the Middle East. He has conducted clinical research for over 34 years.
