Steven Bengelsdorf

Dr. Steven Bengelsdorf, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon and the Medical Director of Franklin Skin and Laser, located at 103 International Drive, Suite 106, Franklin, Tennessee 37067. He founded the practice in 2006.

Dr. Bengelsdorf received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed a surgery residency at Boston University Medical Center (1991–1996). He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is affiliated with Williamson Medical Center. He has over 20 years of experience.

Franklin Skin and Laser is the largest medical spa in the Franklin area, specializing in non-invasive aesthetic and energy-based treatments and cosmetic dermatology. The practice has over 25 different energy-based devices and offers over 50 different aesthetic and cosmetic services. All licensed nurses and medical aestheticians are personally supervised by Dr. Bengelsdorf. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at Belmont Medical School (2024–present). The practice has been a leader in aesthetics in the Franklin area since 2006.
