Paul Friedman

Dr. Paul M. Friedman, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist, Mohs micrographic surgeon, and the founder and director of the Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center, located at 1802 Binz Street, Suite 2720, Houston, Texas 77004, with an additional location in New York City.

Dr. Friedman earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis (1996). He completed his dermatology residency at New York University School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in dermatologic laser surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, and cutaneous oncology at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York under Dr. Roy Geronemus. He has over 25 years of experience.

He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and served as President of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical School (Department of Dermatology) and Weill Cornell Medical College at The Methodist Hospital. He was named one of the Best Dermatologists in America for Laser Treatments by Newsweek Magazine and a Top Beauty Doctor by NewBeauty Magazine. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, co-authored Beautiful Skin Revealed, and co-edited Lasers and Light Source Treatment for the Skin. He also serves as Fellowship Training Director.
