Renato Saltz

Dr. Renato Saltz, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and the founder of Saltz Plastic Surgery & Spa Vitoria, with offices at 5445 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84117, and 1441 Ute Boulevard, Suite 140, Park City, Utah 84098.

Dr. Saltz earned his medical degree from Universidade Federal Rio Grande do Sul School of Medicine in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He completed a surgical residency at the University of Miami and a plastic surgery residency at the University of Alabama. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has over 40 years of experience.

He served as President of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), President of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS/The Aesthetic Society), and President of the Rocky Mountain Association of Plastic Surgeons. He is an Adjunct Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah and a Clinical Professor at the University Federal of Rio de Janeiro. He previously served as Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery and Director of the Summit Plastic Surgery Center at the University of Utah (1994–2002) and at the Medical College of Georgia (1990–1994). He is one of the early pioneers in endoscopic facial surgery in the United States.

He founded the Image Reborn Foundation of Utah (1998), a non-profit providing free retreats to breast cancer survivors, serving approximately 4,000 survivors. He founded the American-Brazilian Aesthetic Meeting (ABAM). He has published over 500 national and international presentations, 100+ articles, 40 chapters, and 7 books. He has appeared on Extra and been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Allure, and NewBeauty. Spa Vitoria (2002) was the first medical spa in the Intermountain West.
