Robert Skaggs

Dr. Robert Skaggs, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist, fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, and the founder of the Kentucky Skin Cancer Center, a comprehensive dermatology practice with offices in Bowling Green, Owensboro, Glasgow, Franklin, and Powderly, Kentucky. He earned his biochemistry degree from the University of Louisville and his MD from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Louisville, where he earned the distinction of Chief Resident, and a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is widely known as a leading skin cancer surgery expert with the highest cure rates (up to 99% for non-melanoma carcinomas). He is a published researcher with articles on Medicare skin cancer treatment patterns and Mohs surgery outcomes.
