Scott R. Miller

Dr. Scott R. Miller, MD, FACS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon and the founder of Miller Cosmetic Surgery Center in La Jolla, California. He is recognized as one of Southern California's leading plastic surgeons, specializing in facial rejuvenation with naturally beautiful results. Dr. Miller earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California Irvine College of Medicine in 1991. He completed his internship and general surgery residency at UC Irvine Medical Center and his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of California San Diego. He then completed a prestigious one-year aesthetic cosmetic surgery fellowship with Dr. Bruce F. Connell, the world-renowned plastic surgeon known as the Father of the Modern Facelift — a fellowship distinction held by very few plastic surgeons in the country. Dr. Miller is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (The Aesthetic Society), and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. He serves as an attending surgeon at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla and as a Voluntary Clinical Instructor of Plastic Surgery at UC San Diego. He has been named to Castle Connolly's Top Doctors list for over 20 consecutive years, won Best Cosmetic Surgeon in San Diego by San Diego Reader, and received the Best of La Jolla Award for Plastic Surgeon multiple years running. He is the author of "Authentic Beauty" and textbook chapters on facelift advances. Dr. Miller specializes in facelifts, neck lifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lifts, breast augmentation, breast lifts, liposuction, tummy tucks, mommy makeovers, structural fat grafting, Botox, and dermal fillers.
