Sean T. Doherty

Dr. Sean T. Doherty, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon at the Boston Center for Plastic Surgery, practicing from offices in Boston and Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He earned his BA in Art History from Columbia University, where he also studied in Paris, and his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and plastic surgery training at Lahey Clinic. He served as Medical Director and Principal Investigator for Cynosure-Lutronic (2013-2025), working on clinical studies that led to the FDA approval of SculpSure and facial rejuvenation lasers. He is a speaker and trainer for Allergan and Galderma and has served on advisory boards for both companies. He was named one of America's Best Plastic Surgeons by Newsweek (2023 and 2025) for breast augmentation and liposuction, a Boston Magazine Top Doctor, and a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for eight consecutive years.
