Shari Hicks-Graham

Dr. Shari Hicks-Graham, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Downtown Dermatology LLC in Columbus, Ohio, at 500 East Main Street. A Columbus, Ohio native, she is a graduate of Spelman College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (2000). She completed a research fellowship at Harvard's Wellman School of Photomedicine under the direction of Dr. R. Rox Anderson, a pioneer in laser medicine. She also served as an intern in the Department of Internal Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Her dermatology residency was completed from 2002 to 2005 at the Los Angeles County Medical Centers (Charles R. Drew University). She returned to Columbus in 2005 to start her practice. She has over 25 years of experience in the medical field and is affiliated with OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, Riverside Methodist Hospital, and Ohio State East Hospital. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She provides high-quality medical, cosmetic, and aesthetic dermatology services for children, teenagers, and adults. She has published research on confocal histopathology of irritant contact dermatitis and the impact of skin color. She received the American Heart Association's Physician of the Year Award. She has been featured in media for scalp health expertise. Clients describe her as outstanding, always very pleasant, caring, and most importantly very competent. Her team includes PA-C Jana Shaffer (nationally board certified since 2008, experienced in dermatology) and PA-C Amy Lipp (Ohio Dominican University).
