Taylor Theunissen

Dr. Taylor Theunissen, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Theunissen Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with over 15 years in private practice. He earned his MD from LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans School of Medicine (2003), completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (2010), and a Craniofacial Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Stanford University (2011). He has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, a Top 10 Doctor in Louisiana, and Favorite Plastic Surgeon in Baton Rouge (2022). He is published in the New Orleans Journal and the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRS). He has extensive training in craniofacial, reconstructive, and microsurgery. He is an active member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery. He has volunteered on Cleft Medical Mission Trips to Guanajuato, Mexico to help children with cleft palate syndrome. His practice features an in-office operating room. He also performs Maxillo-mandibular Advancement (MMA) surgery for obstructive sleep apnea. He specializes in breast augmentation, breast lifts, breast reduction, tummy tucks, mommy makeovers, labiaplasty, rhinoplasty, facelifts, liposuction, Brazilian butt lifts, eyelid surgery, Botox, dermal fillers, laser resurfacing, and chemical peels.
