William T. Stoeckel

Dr. William T. Stoeckel, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Wake Plastic Surgery and Med Spa in Cary, North Carolina, serving the Raleigh-Durham Triangle region. Born in Lubbock, Texas, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He completed his Master's degree in Anatomy at Wright State University, where he taught the undergraduate anatomy course and tutored medical students. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed his integrated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training at Wake Forest University. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He was one of the first surgeons in the Raleigh/Durham area to adopt the drainless tummy tuck surgery using progressive-tension-sutures, a technique he has used since 2011 and has taught to other surgeons. His practice also features Dr. Rahman Barry, a double board-certified plastic surgeon. He has been involved in medical missions to Formosa, Argentina, and Cochabamba, Bolivia. He uses MAC anesthesia for many procedures rather than general anesthesia, minimizing recovery time and side effects. His practice features a private accredited on-site surgical suite, five MedSpa treatment rooms, and a team with over 30 years of combined experience. Patients travel from as far as Las Vegas to see him. He aspires to deliver conservative yet dramatic results that enhance appearance naturally.
