Arielle Kauvar

Dr. Arielle N.B. Kauvar, MD, is an internationally renowned board-certified dermatologist, laser surgeon, and Mohs skin cancer surgeon who is the founding director of New York Laser and Skin Care in Manhattan. A magna cum laude graduate of Princeton University (elected Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Xi), she received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and MIT's Health Science and Technology program. She completed her dermatology residency at NYU Medical Center and a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and laser surgery at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of New York. She is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and is affiliated with NYU Langone Health, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, and Lenox Hill Hospital. She serves on the Board of Directors of ASDS and previously served on the boards of ASLMS and ASCDAS, and is past president of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York. She received the Leon Goldman Memorial Award from ASLMS in 2021 for excellence in clinical research, the Elle Magazine Beauty Genius Award, the ASDS President's Award, and multiple AAD Presidential Citations. She is listed in Castle Connolly's Best Doctors in America and as a Super Doctor in Dermatology. Prior to completing medical studies she spent a year at the Art Students League of New York.
