Bharat Shah

Dr. Bharat Shah, MD, FACS, is a triple board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Shah Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa in Springfield, Missouri, where he has been in practice since 1996. A Chicago native, he attended Loyola University of Chicago for both his undergraduate studies and medical school, graduating in 1991. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, a one-year fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He holds board certifications from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is certified in Facial Plastic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Shah operates from a Quad A (AAAASF) accredited surgical suite and is affiliated with Mercy Hospital Springfield. He has been voted Best Plastic Surgeon by readers of 417 Magazine for 10 consecutive years and has received numerous awards, including The Missourian Award, Men of the Year, Salute to Health Care, and a Resolution in the Missouri State Senate. He specializes in breast enhancement, facial rejuvenation (including facelift, rhinoplasty, and revision rhinoplasty), body contouring (abdominoplasty, mommy makeover, arm lift, thigh lift), hair restoration, and a full range of nonsurgical treatments including Botox, fillers, and skin tightening.
