Laxmeesh Mike Nayak

Dr. Laxmeesh "Mike" Nayak, MD, is a triple board-certified facial plastic surgeon and the founder of Nayak Plastic Surgery and Avani Derm Spa in Frontenac, Missouri, which he established in 2006 alongside his wife Avani Nayak, a former corporate attorney. Originally from Effingham, Illinois, Dr. Nayak graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with a degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry. He earned his medical degree through a Distinguished Student Scholarship at Washington University, receiving multiple honors including the Alpha Omega Alpha Book Prize, the Medical School Prize, and the Senior Prize in Surgery. He completed his residency at Harvard Medical School and general surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, followed by an AAFPRS fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with the Glasgold Group. On his board certification exams, he earned the highest written exam score on the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery exam and both the highest written and highest oral exam scores on the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery exam. He is the creator of the Omakase Face Lift, a personalized approach to facial rejuvenation. He is a clinical professor who teaches advanced facial plastic surgery techniques to other surgeons. His techniques and work have been featured in The New York Times, Allure, People, and Newsweek, which named him one of America's Best Plastic Surgeons. Avani Derm Spa, the medspa arm of his practice, is among the top 1% of Botox and Dysport practices nationally and has locations in Frontenac and Des Peres. His humanitarian efforts include annual trips to Hanoi, Vietnam, to provide reconstructive services and teach local surgeons. He specializes in facelift (including deep plane and deep necklift), rhinoplasty, cosmetic fat transfer, blepharoplasty, and facial rejuvenation.
