Blake Raggio

Dr. Blake Raggio, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon and the founder of Raggio MD Facial Plastic Surgery in Homewood, Alabama. He focuses exclusively on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, specializing in advanced rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, and deep plane facelift and neck lift procedures designed to deliver natural, rejuvenated results. A native of New Orleans, Dr. Raggio earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University and his Doctor of Medicine from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed an extensive five-year residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Tulane University Medical Center, followed by a highly competitive fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Toronto under the mentorship of world-renowned facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jamil Asaria, where he refined his techniques in rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation, and hair restoration. Dr. Raggio is double board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, a dual certification held by fewer than five percent of facial plastic surgeons in the United States. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and one of only a select few AAFPRS fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeons practicing in Alabama. Dr. Raggio developed The PreservaLift™, his signature advanced deep plane facelift and neck lift procedure, which emphasizes preservation techniques combined with extended deep plane lifting and stem cell-rich fat grafting for long-lasting, natural-looking outcomes. His practice also offers non-surgical aesthetic treatments including injectables and laser therapies. He serves as an adjunct clinical professor at UAB School of Medicine and a faculty member at Tulane University School of Medicine, and is a faculty injector trainer for the Beverly Hills Institute of Aesthetic Medicine. He has authored over 40 medical journal articles and book chapters and has been recognized as the River Region's Best Plastic Surgeon.
