Cameron Rokhsar

Dr. Cameron Rokhsar, MD, FAAD, FAACS, is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained laser and Mohs surgeon, and the founder and Medical Director of the New York Cosmetic, Skin, and Laser Surgery Center, with offices in Manhattan and Garden City, Long Island. A graduate of Harvard College and NYU School of Medicine, he completed his dermatology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident, and a laser and dermatologic surgery fellowship under the late Dr. Richard Fitzpatrick, regarded by many as the father of laser surgery. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he teaches cosmetic dermatology to residents. He was directly involved in the development of the Fraxel Laser, having worked with the prototype device in 2003, a technology that revolutionized laser resurfacing worldwide. He has trained hundreds of physicians on Fraxel and other laser techniques in the US and around the world. He pioneered the use of fillers for nasal contouring (the nonsurgical nose job) and the use of fillers under the eye (the nonsurgical eyelift). He has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for 20 consecutive years and a New York Magazine Best Doctor for multiple consecutive years. He has been featured on Good Morning America, Today Show, CBS News, FOX News, NBC News, Rachel Ray Show, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal.
