Christopher Knotts

Dr. Christopher Knotts, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon at the Plastic Surgery Institute of New Mexico in Albuquerque, which he joined in 2020. A native New Mexican, he graduated from the University of New Mexico Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He then completed an aesthetic surgery fellowship at the Hunstad-Kortesis Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Charlotte, North Carolina, one of the most prestigious cosmetic surgery fellowships in the country. Before returning home to New Mexico, he practiced exclusively cosmetic surgery for seven years at the Austin-Weston Center for Cosmetic Surgery in the Washington DC area. He serves as Vice President of the Plastic Surgery Institute of New Mexico and works alongside founding surgeon Dr. Neil T. Chen and Dr. Jeffry Wu.
