Deirdre Hooper

Dr. Deirdre Hooper, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and the co-founder (with Dr. Sarah Jackson) of Audubon Dermatology in New Orleans, Louisiana, established in 2006 to help rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. She is an honors graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine and earned her undergraduate degree in biology cum laude from Louisiana Tech University. Her postdoctoral training included the LSU Department of Dermatology and a Women's Dermatologic Society Mentorship with Dr. Pearl Grimes in Los Angeles. She serves as Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at both LSU and Tulane University. She serves on the Board of Directors for both the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Women's Dermatologic Society, and is Past President of the Louisiana Dermatology Society. She has been invited to join the prestigious American Dermatologic Association and the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society. She lectures nationally and internationally on cosmetic dermatology and broadcasts a bi-weekly medical news segment on Fox 8 News. She is a published author with peer-reviewed articles and two book chapters, a clinical researcher, and a consultant and Advisory Board member in injectables, acne, rosacea, and skin cancer. Clients describe her as "a cosmetic genius when it comes to Botox" and "a brilliant professional." She specializes in Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra, Belotero, Fraxel, Clear and Brilliant, IPL, laser hair removal, Sofwave, sclerotherapy, chemical peels, dermaplaning, skin cancer treatment, and medical dermatology.
