James Manning

Dr. James P. Manning, MD, is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Utah Facial Plastics, with locations in Salt Lake City and Draper, Utah.

Dr. Manning earned his bachelor's degree cum laude from Brigham Young University–Idaho (2011). He completed medical school, a residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, and a highly competitive fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under Dr. Vito Quatela, the former president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He is also ISHRS Fellowship Trained in Hair Restoration Surgery.

He practices alongside co-founders Dr. Scott Thompson and Dr. Douglas Henstrom at Utah Facial Plastics, which has been recognized as Best of Salt Lake City, Best of State, and a Salt Lake Tribune Top Workplace. The surgeons have been named Castle Connolly Top Doctors since 2019. He is fluent in Spanish and participates annually in medical missions to Ecuador and Guatemala. He has appeared on Good Things Utah.
