Joseph L. Hill Jr.

Dr. Joseph L. Hill Jr., MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Plastic Surgeons of Lexington in Lexington, Kentucky, the original plastic surgery group in the city, founded in 1952 and now in its third generation. He graduated cum laude from Centre College and earned his MD With Distinction from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed a highly competitive six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Kentucky, where he received the Resident Teaching Award and placed second in the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgery Resident Research Competition. He joined the practice in 2012 as the son-in-law of founding surgeon Dr. Andrew Moore Sr.'s family. He practices alongside Dr. Michael Lynch and Dr. Evan Moore (the third generation of Moore surgeons). He is a member of The Aesthetic Society, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has published research in the Annals of Plastic Surgery. The practice also offers medical skin rejuvenation with Holly Hodge, RN, BSN, CANS.
