Karen Walker

Dr. Karen Walker, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Alabama Dermatology Associates in Northport, Alabama, where she has practiced since 2006. She provides the full range of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services, with particular expertise in aesthetic treatments including Botox and Dysport injection, dermal filler injection, and chemical peels, which she has been performing for over 16 years. A Tuscaloosa native, Dr. Walker graduated as valedictorian from Central High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Alabama, graduating summa cum laude. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude in 2002. She completed an internship in internal medicine at UAB and her dermatology residency at the Medical College of Georgia, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Walker is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. In addition to her cosmetic services, she specializes in treating a broad range of dermatological conditions including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, and rosacea, as well as skin cancer detection and treatment. She is affiliated with DCH Regional Medical Center and Fayette Medical Center.
