Kathleen Shergy Hesterman

Dr. Kathleen Shergy Hesterman, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Hesterman Dermatology in Huntsville, Alabama. A Huntsville native, she opened her practice in 2021 with the goal of providing the full spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services to patients of all ages. Dr. Hesterman earned her undergraduate degree from Rice University in Houston, Texas, and her Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She completed an internal medicine internship, a dermatology research fellowship, and her dermatology residency at Tulane. During her training, she served as a sub-investigator for numerous clinical research studies and managed the cosmetic clinic for Tulane's patients across the city of New Orleans. She has published multiple articles, including a lead article in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has presented at numerous national conferences. Dr. Hesterman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has been practicing in Huntsville since 2018. Her aesthetic services include neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, laser treatments, microneedling, and medical-grade skincare. She is affiliated with Huntsville Hospital and is dedicated to helping patients achieve their healthiest, most vibrant skin through evidence-based, personalized care.
