Mary Snyder

Dr. Mary C. Snyder, MD, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon at Black Hills Plastic Surgery, located at 3615 5th Street, Suite 101, Rapid City, South Dakota 57701. She has been practicing plastic surgery since 2005.

Dr. Snyder earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine (1998). She is board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Prior to joining Rapid City Medical Center, she served as assistant professor in plastic surgery and otolaryngology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Black Hills Medical Society, and the South Dakota State Medical Association. She has served as co-chair of the ASPS Head and Neck Surgery Curriculum Development Committee and on the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation In-Service Exam Committee. She is an active member of the Eduplast Foundation and has made numerous mission trips to Nicaragua providing reconstructive surgery to underserved children and adults with clefts, burns, and injuries. She practices alongside Dr. Robert Schutz and also serves patients in Gillette, Wyoming, and Spearfish and Pierre, South Dakota. She is affiliated with Black Hills Surgical Hospital and Campbell County Memorial Hospital. She holds a 5-star rating on Healthgrades with numerous positive reviews.
