Michael S. Kaminer

Dr. Michael S. Kaminer, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon and one of the three founding partners of SkinCare Physicians in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, a 15-physician, 100-employee group recognized as a world leader in dermatology and cosmetic surgery. He earned his BS from Haverford College and his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine (Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society). He is currently Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Yale Medical School and formerly Assistant Professor at Harvard and Tufts Medical Schools. He serves as the team dermatologist for the Boston Celtics. He is the editor of "Atlas of Cosmetic Surgery," a comprehensive world-class textbook now in its 2nd edition, and is the author of over 100 scientific articles and book chapters. He served as Associate Editor of the Archives of Dermatology and Co-Chairman of the Anti-Aging World Congress in Paris. He has directed numerous Harvard Medical School courses and comprehensive cosmetic surgery fellowship programs. He is a Fellow of both the AAD and ASDS and has been named a Top Doctor by Boston Magazine for over 10 years. He has appeared on CNN and CBS, ABC, and NBC affiliates and has been quoted in Vogue, Newsweek, Glamour, Allure, and more. SkinCare Physicians had 11 board-certified dermatologists named Boston Magazine Top Doctors in 2026.
