Sandra Bouzaglou

Dr. Sandra Bouzaglou, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon (American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery) and the founder of The Center for Plastic Surgery and Med Spa in Lexington, Kentucky, with a second practice in Newport Beach, California. Born in Cleveland and raised in Southern California, she attended UCLA before earning her MD from Chicago Medical School (1983). She completed general surgery residencies at Loyola University Medical Center and the University of Iowa, then a plastic surgery residency at the University of Kentucky, where she became the first female plastic surgery resident. She has been practicing since 1990 with over 34 years of experience. In 1998, she opened The SurgiCenter, Kentucky's first AAAASF-accredited outpatient center dedicated to plastic surgery, and has completed over 4,500 successful cases. She pioneered oral sedation and local anesthesia techniques in place of general anesthesia for many procedures, leading to faster recoveries and expanded access for patients. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She specializes in deep plane facelifts, breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lifts, breast reconstruction, tummy tucks, liposuction, body contouring, Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra, laser treatments, and RF microneedling.
