Shahram Salemy

Dr. Shahram Salemy, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery. His practice, Shahram Salemy Plastic Surgery, is located at 1101 Madison Street, Suite 1101, Seattle, Washington 98104.

Dr. Salemy is a native of Austin, Texas. He graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry (1995). He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Yale University School of Medicine (1999), where he received the Connecticut Society of the American Board of Surgeons Prize for excellence in surgical science. He completed a six-year plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine (completed 2005).

He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (2006), a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (The Aesthetic Society), and the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgeons, where he served as Past President (2024–2025). He was named to Newsweek's America's Best Plastic Surgeons (2025), Seattle Magazine Top Doctor, Washington's 10 Best Plastic Surgeons by AIOPS, Patients' Choice Award (2008, 2009), and King 5 Best of Western Washington Finalist for Best Plastic Surgeon. He has been in practice since 2005 and operates from an AAAASF-accredited ambulatory surgery center.
