Stephen Lazarus

Dr. Stephen M. Lazarus, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Associates, P.A., located at 801 North Weisgarber Road, Suite 500, Knoxville, Tennessee 37909. He has been performing cosmetic surgery in Knoxville since 1983.

Dr. Lazarus completed a surgery residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center (1975–1980) and a plastic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (1980–1982). He is licensed to practice in Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (since 1983). He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been selected as one of the Best Doctors in America and has consistently been recognized as a top plastic surgeon in Knoxville by CityView's Annual Top Doctors Survey.

He established the first AAAASF-accredited office-based plastic surgery practice in Knoxville. The facility also meets Tennessee Level III office-based surgery certification. He performs over 200 major cosmetic procedures annually, and more than 5,000 patients have undergone surgery at his facility since 1992. He has over 30 years of experience administering injectable treatments in addition to surgical procedures.
