Tom Crais

Dr. Tom Crais, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the owner of Aesthetics of Plastic Surgery in Hailey, Idaho, serving the Sun Valley area. He is the only full-time, board-certified plastic surgeon in the region and has over 35 years of plastic surgery experience. He earned his MD from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, completed his general surgery residency at Boston University Medical Center, and his plastic surgery residency and reconstructive microsurgery fellowship at NYU. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He speaks Spanish and German. Since 1989, he has traveled with Operation Smile International to India, Vietnam, Colombia, Nicaragua, and Romania to perform cleft lip and palate reconstruction on children. He specializes in facial rejuvenation, fat injection, breast augmentation and reduction, rhinoplasty, and laser skin resurfacing.
