Vasileios Vasilakis

Dr. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon at Memorial Plastic Surgery, with offices at 8731 Katy Freeway, Suite 500, Houston, Texas 77024, and 450 West Medical Center Boulevard, Suite 202, Webster, Texas 77598.

Born in Athens, Greece, Dr. Vasilakis earned his Bachelor of Science and medical degree with Honors from the University of London (Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry). He completed a post-graduate clinical year at St. Bartholomew Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. He received a national scholarship from the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons to study advanced microsurgery in Taiwan. He completed residencies in surgery at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the University of Colorado, and joined Memorial Plastic Surgery in September 2020. He has over 30 years of experience.

He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is affiliated with North Cypress Medical Center. He has published and lectured extensively, with peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in prominent surgical publications.
