Alexa Nicholls Costa

Alexa Nicholls Costa, NP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner and the Co-Founder and CEO of LexRx, a "Best of Boston" aesthetic injectables practice in Boston, Massachusetts. She earned her BS in Health Science from Boston University Sargent College and her MSN from Regis College, where she received the Masters of Nursing Excellence Award. She trained in plastic surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and completed a Nurse Practitioner Fellowship in Emergency Medicine through Brown Medical School. She worked as an NP in the Emergency Department at MGH for many years while building LexRx. Founded in 2015, LexRx has scaled to 5 locations across Massachusetts (Beacon Hill, South Boston, Nantucket, Charlestown, and Seaport) while remaining 100% founder-owned and cash-flow positive without outside investment. She also co-founded Inject With Lex and LexLab training ventures and is a Lead Instructor for the Clinical Aesthetics Injectables Skills Program at Boston College, with programs expanding to Columbia University and UNC Chapel Hill. She is a Founding Faculty member for Evolus Academy and Faculty for Galderma's GAIN Business division. She is a Key Opinion Leader who has spoken at the AmSpa MedSpa Show, ISPAN, The Aesthetic Show, and more. LexRx has been featured in InStyle, Prevention, Women's Health, CBS Business Pulse, and Haute Living, and has been described as "the Drybar of aesthetic treatments." She specializes in Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, preventive and corrective cosmetic injectables, and medical-grade skincare.
