Arthur Turko

Dr. Arthur Turko, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Plastic + Hand Surgical Associates in South Portland, Maine. He graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University and earned his MD from Harvard University Medical School, where he received multiple honors including the Linnane Award for Excellence and Leadership. He completed the Harvard Plastic Surgery Combined Residency Program, serving as Chief Resident and as a member of the face and hand transplant team at Brigham and Women's Hospital (2008-2014). He then completed a fellowship in orthopaedic hand surgery and microsurgery at Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital. He joined Plastic + Hand in 2015. He is on the teaching faculty of the Lahey Clinic and serves as Clinical Instructor at Maine Medical Center for Tufts University School of Medicine. He is a published researcher with work in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Annals of Plastic Surgery.
