Christopher Tolan

Dr. Christopher Tolan, MD, is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a founding partner of Midwest Facial Plastic Surgery in Woodbury, Minnesota, where he has practiced for over two decades. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1991 and completed his residency in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics. He then completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. Dr. Tolan holds board certifications from both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and the American Academy of Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery. He serves as a national physician trainer for Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox, and lectures and instructs other physicians on injectable techniques. He also serves as medical director of Refinery Skin Clinic. Dr. Tolan has been named a Top Doctor by Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine multiple years, including 2012, 2015 through 2020. He specializes in face and neck lifts, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, Botox, dermal fillers, Kybella, and laser skin treatments. His interest in facial plastic surgery began during medical school after observing the transformative impact of cleft lip and palate repair on children.
