Joe Gryskiewicz

Dr. Joe Gryskiewicz, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Gryskiewicz Twin Cities Cosmetic Surgery, with offices in Burnsville and Edina, Minnesota. He earned his bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of St. Thomas and College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1978, and completed his general surgery residency and plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, where he also served as chief resident. He additionally completed a hand surgery fellowship at Northwestern University and advanced microvascular surgery training. With over 40 years of experience in the Twin Cities, Dr. Gryskiewicz is a Clinical Professor at the University of Minnesota Cleft Palate Clinics and a past Chief of Surgery at Fairview Southdale Hospital. He is the past president of The Rhinoplasty Society, past president of ASERF (Aesthetic Society Education and Research Foundation), and past president of the Minnesota Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Gryskiewicz has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed plastic surgery journals and has given over 300 presentations internationally on rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and other cosmetic surgery topics. He is co-inventor of the Insorb Surgical Stapler, named the top medical device of 2006 by the Wall Street Journal. He specializes in Quick Recovery Breast Augmentation, rhinoplasty, facelift, body contouring, abdominoplasty, and liposuction. He has been a Readers' Choice Winner from 2014 through 2023 in the Twin Cities area. Patients frequently praise his ability to combine artistry with surgical skill.
