Gene Sloan

Dr. Gene Sloan, MD, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Doctors Med Spa in Little Rock, Arkansas. With over 30 years in practice, he has performed thousands of cosmetic procedures and is one of the most experienced plastic surgeons in the state. A lifelong Arkansas resident, Dr. Sloan was born in Jonesboro and raised in Hot Springs. He attended the University of Central Arkansas and received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1985. After an elective rotation in plastic surgery at Stanford University sparked his passion for the field, he completed his general surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia, followed by a year of plastic surgery training at City Hospital in Nottingham, England, and two years of plastic surgery residency at the University of Miami. He began private practice in Little Rock in 1993. Dr. Sloan is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (The Aesthetic Society), and the Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons. He was selected for the Mentor LEAD program as a top breast surgeon and won the Aesthetic Awards 2015 for Best Surgical Body Shaping Enhancement. He has been named Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Best of the Best multiple years running and has received the Patients' Choice Award and Most Compassionate Doctor recognition. He specializes in breast augmentation — having performed over 5,000 — as well as breast lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction, facelifts, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, and body contouring. His facility on Cantrell Road houses his clinical office, Doctors Med Spa, and an AAAASF-accredited surgery center with a board-certified anesthesiologist on staff.
