Melanie Prince

Dr. Melanie Prince, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Prince Plastic Surgery in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is Little Rock's only female plastic surgeon and has built a thriving practice focused on helping patients achieve natural-looking results through advanced cosmetic and reconstructive techniques. A native of central Arkansas, Dr. Prince attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock on a full academic scholarship, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in biology. She earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in 2006, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society — the top ten percent of medical students in the country — and received three scholarships for academic excellence. She completed her integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Prince is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She has co-authored numerous publications in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She holds clinical appointments at Baptist Health Medical Center, St. Vincent Health System, and Arkansas Surgical Hospital. Dr. Prince's practice focuses on cosmetic procedures of the breast and body including breast augmentation, breast lifts, breast reduction, tummy tucks, liposuction, and mommy makeovers. She also performs breast reconstruction for cancer patients and participates annually in BRA Day USA to educate women about their reconstructive options. As a female surgeon, she brings a unique perspective to understanding her patients' goals and desires.
