Janine Hopkins

Dr. Janine Hopkins, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Hopkins Dermatology in Monroe, Louisiana, with a second location in Southlake, Texas. She earned her MD from LSUMC Shreveport (1992), completed an internal medicine internship at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, and her dermatology residency at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans (1993-1996), with an emphasis on surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She opened her first private practice immediately after completing training in 1996 and after 25 years of solo practice expanded to Southlake, TX in 2021. She is recognized as an expert and thought leader in Fotona laser technology, serving as a keynote speaker at the Fotona Super Symposium and faculty lecturer at AAD, ODAC, and multiple national conferences. She received the 2018 Healthcare Hero Award and Northeast Louisiana Dermatologist of the Year Award. She has served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Louisiana Dermatological Society and past state chair for the Dermatology Foundation.
