Mary P. Lupo

Dr. Mary P. Lupo, MD, FAAD, is a nationally renowned board-certified dermatologist, clinical professor, and the founder of the Lupo Center for Aesthetic and General Dermatology in New Orleans, Louisiana, established in 1984. She graduated summa cum laude from Newcomb College of Tulane University with the highest four-year GPA of her graduating class (1976) and earned her MD from Tulane University School of Medicine (1980). She completed an internal medicine internship at Ochsner Foundation and her dermatology residency at Tulane, where she served as chief resident and received the Peterkin Award for original research. She has been a leader in non-surgical rejuvenation since 1983 and started the first formal residency training program for injectables and peels at Tulane that year. She serves as Adjunct Professor of Dermatology at Tulane University School of Medicine. She is Past President of the Women's Dermatologic Society and a founder of Cosmetic Boot Camp. She is a member of the Allergan National Training Center and National Education Faculty. She was the first physician in Louisiana to perform photorejuvenation with Intense Pulsed Light (1999). She has received the Dermatology Foundation Lifetime Career Educator Award and the WDS Wilma Bergfeld Visionary and Leadership Award recognizing her as a trailblazer for women in dermatology. She has authored over 90 published articles and book chapters and has spoken at nearly 480 national and international meetings. She has appeared on E!, CNN, The View, and the Food Network. Her reputation brings patients from around the country. She founded the Dr. Mary Lupo Skin Care System in 1995. She has over 40 years of experience. She specializes in Botox, Jeuveau, dermal fillers, Sculptra, IPL, Fraxel, Clear and Brilliant, laser resurfacing, chemical peels, sclerotherapy, skin cancer treatment, and medical-grade skincare.
