Ross Bunch

Dr. Ross Bunch, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Plastic Surgery of Tuscaloosa and Spa Belle La Vie in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. With more than three decades of experience, he is recognized for his expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, with particular skill in rhinoplasty, endoscopic procedures, breast enhancement, body contouring, and facial rejuvenation. A native of Houma, Louisiana, Dr. Bunch completed his undergraduate studies at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans in 1990. He completed his general surgery residency at LSU, followed by his plastic surgery residency in the LSU/Charity Hospital program, where he trained extensively in microsurgery, cosmetic surgery, and reconstructive surgery under world-renowned facial cosmetic surgeons. Dr. Bunch is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (The Aesthetic Society). He was accepted into the prestigious Rhinoplasty Society, an honor reserved for surgeons with advanced expertise in nasal surgery. He has extensive training in endoscopic cosmetic procedures, including endoscopic breast augmentation, forehead lifts, and mid-face lifts, which he incorporates regularly into his surgical practice. Dr. Bunch serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and is an active supporter of the University of Alabama's Cancer Center, where he lectures on breast cancer support techniques. He also regularly lectures on bariatric surgical procedures and their unique requirements for plastic surgeons. In 2008, he expanded his practice with the addition of Spa Belle La Vie, a medical spa offering laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, facials, and other aesthetic treatments. He is affiliated with DCH Regional Medical Center and Baptist Health Princeton Hospital.
