Samuel Maurice

Dr. Samuel Maurice, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon at UnityPoint Clinic Plastic Surgery in Waukee, Iowa, with comprehensive training in plastic, reconstructive, cosmetic, and craniofacial surgery. He earned his MD from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (2003) and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, followed by fellowship training in both Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Craniofacial Surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has authored multiple journal articles and book chapters on various plastic surgery topics. He has been featured on WHO13's Hello Iowa segment and has been affiliated with MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center and UnityPoint Health-Iowa Methodist Medical Center. UnityPoint Clinic recently opened a new plastic surgery clinic in Waukee in January 2026. He has over 20 years of experience and is known for his meticulous surgical technique and individualized approach.
