Virginia Reeder

Dr. Virginia Reeder, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Advanced Dermatology & Skin Care Centre, practicing at their Mobile and Daphne, Alabama, locations. She specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, including Botox, dermal fillers, PRP for hair loss, and laser treatments. Dr. Reeder earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, where she graduated with Phi Beta Kappa honors, distinction on her senior thesis, and was accepted into the Distinguished Majors Program in history. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2009, graduating magna cum laude. During medical school, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received numerous scholarships and awards, including the Arnold G. Diethelm Student Scholar in Surgical Sciences and the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement. She completed her dermatology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident from 2015 to 2016. Dr. Reeder is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has published research on topics including hidradenitis suppurativa, Mohs surgery trends, and skin of color dermatology, and has authored book chapters in major dermatology textbooks. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
