Vlada Groysman

Dr. Vlada Groysman, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder and Medical Director of Cahaba Dermatology & Skin Health Center, with locations in Hoover, Cahaba Heights, and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She specializes in medical, surgical, cosmetic, and laser dermatology, and under her direction, Cahaba Dermatology has become one of the top aesthetic practices in the state. Dr. Groysman earned dual undergraduate degrees — a Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology and a Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry — from the University of Arizona, graduating with distinction. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2005. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and subsequently served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at UAB, where she directed the Women's Health Clinic with subspecialties in mucosal disorders, rosacea, and dermatologic disease of pregnancy. She continues to serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at UAB. Dr. Groysman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Women's Dermatologic Society, the American Contact Dermatology Society, and the National Psoriasis Foundation. She is a National Advanced Trainer for Galderma and Allergan Aesthetics, the makers of injectable fillers and neurotoxins including Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra, Botox, and Dysport, and has trained multiple physicians in advanced injection techniques. She received the Birmingham Business Journal's Women to Watch award in 2021, and Cahaba Dermatology has been recognized by Shelby Living Magazine as Best Dermatology office and Best Dermatology and Spa. The practice also operates Spa Cahaba, featuring the only saltwater float pool in Alabama, and maintains an in-house clinical research department. She speaks English, Russian, and Spanish.
