Alyson Wells

Dr. Alyson Wells, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Valley Plastic Surgery & Medi-Spa in Hunt Valley, Maryland. She is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee and earned a full-tuition academic merit scholarship as a Tennessee Scholar at the University of Tennessee, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She received her MD from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, where she earned the Janet H. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Award. She completed a transitional year internship and otolaryngology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital (1996-2001), followed by an integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System (2001-2003). She serves as Chief of Plastic Surgery at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), the first woman to be appointed as a division chief within GBMC's Department of Surgery. She is also a teaching physician at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a published researcher in facial plastic surgery, organ transplantation, and cancer. She has earned a spot on Baltimore Magazine's Top Doctor list, a resource trusted by readers for 30 years. She has been in practice for over 20 years. Clients describe her work as "like an art" and praise her for being "careful to not over correct." One RN patient noted that Dr. Wells placed her IV herself. She specializes in facelifts, breast augmentation, tummy tucks, liposuction, body contouring, fat transfers, and facial rejuvenation.
