Theda C. Kontis

Dr. Theda C. Kontis, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon at the Aesthetic Center at Woodholme in Baltimore, Maryland. She is certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She earned her MD from Wake Forest University and completed her residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. She is an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins, where she teaches surgical techniques to students, residents, and fellows. She joined the Aesthetic Center at Woodholme in 1994 and has nearly three decades of experience in facial cosmetic surgery. She is an internationally recognized expert in dermal fillers, training other physicians worldwide in safe and effective injection techniques. Her textbook, "Cosmetic Injection Techniques," is a top seller in the field.
