Ashley L. Howarth

Dr. Ashley L. Howarth, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Howarth Plastic Surgery in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, Arizona. She has rapidly become one of Arizona's most sought-after female plastic surgeons, recognized for her surgical precision, natural aesthetic results, and meticulous attention to detail. Dr. Howarth earned her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residency at Texas A&M Baylor Scott & White Hospital, followed by her plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic Arizona — a combined nine years of surgical training. She continues to serve as an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at Mayo Clinic, where she trains the next generation of plastic surgeons. Dr. Howarth is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The Aesthetic Society. She serves as the youngest board member and Member-at-Large for the Arizona Society of Plastic Surgeons, a leadership role awarded by her peers. She is an Associate Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She has published research in multiple peer-reviewed plastic surgery journals. Dr. Howarth specializes in cosmetic procedures of the face, breast, and body, including facelifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, breast augmentation, breast lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction, and mommy makeovers. Her practice also includes Aesthetica, a medical spa offering non-surgical treatments. She is affiliated with Mayo Clinic Hospital and sees patients from throughout Arizona. She is a mother of three boys and is an active supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.
