Christopher Surek

Dr. Christopher Surek, DO, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Surek Plastic Surgery within U.S. Dermatology Partners in Overland Park, Kansas. He completed his medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, his plastic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and a cosmetic surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic (ranked #2 in the U.S. by US News & World Report). He has received three national awards for his research in facial cosmetic surgery and is the co-author of a top-selling textbook in aesthetic plastic surgery. He has published 10 book chapters and multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts on filler injections, chemical peeling, and facial cosmetic surgery, including in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. He co-chairs national meetings on facelift, rhinoplasty, and filler injection techniques and teaches facial anatomy at courses and symposia worldwide. He was recognized by Kansas City Top Doctors in 2025. He practices alongside Dr. Daniel Bortnick, MD, in a dedicated Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Center within the Dermatology & Skin Cancer Centers building. He specializes in deep plane facelifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, brow lifts, breast augmentation, tummy tucks, liposuction, body contouring, Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, deep chemical peels, and Mohs reconstruction.
