Jon Rast

Dr. Jon Rast, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon at Associated Plastic Surgeons and Med Spa in Kansas City, which he joined in 2000. Originally from Paris, Texas, Dr. Rast earned his undergraduate degree in animal science from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School at the University of Texas in Dallas. He completed his internship and general surgery residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport and his plastic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He was then awarded a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the prestigious Christine M. Kleinert Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Rast specializes in cosmetic surgery and served as the 2013 President of the Kansas City Plastic Surgery Society. All plastic surgeons at Associated Plastic Surgeons are Fellows of the American College of Surgeons and members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
